Filesystems and acceptable Usage
- /home/<CNetID>
- Accessible by owner, personal data, please keep under 100GB
- Reliable with RAID-5 and periodic backup.
- /scratch/<CNetID> (create a subdir for you or your team/project)
- Volatile large scale use acceptable, try to persisted data (> few days), under 1TB
- Unreliable, not protected by RAID and is not backed up
- When system is full, if your use exceeds 1TB, we will give notice, then erase your files.
- /temp/<CNetID> (create a subdir for you or your team/project)
- Extremely volatile, large-scale use
- Files more than 7 days old will be automatically deleted without notice
- Unreliable, not protected by RAID and is not backed up
- /home_lssg/<CNetID>
- Only for LSSG users
